At the Popbox Club, we believe in the transformative power of boxing as a vehicle for personal growth, community engagement, and the empowerment of individuals from all walks of life.

Our approach is built upon four core pillars, which we affectionately call our "corners. " Each plays a vital role in shaping the champions we cultivate, both inside and outside the ring.
Through these four interconnected corners, the Popbox Club strives to fulfil its mission: to empower aspiring boxers, coaches, and underserved youth to reach their full potential – inside and outside the ring. We are more than just a boxing club; we are a community dedicated to fostering compassion, personal development, and community engagement, cultivating champions in life.
1. Underprivileged Youth Development: The POP Program (Power of Perception)
This is the heart of the Popbox Club. We are deeply committed to providing a structured and supportive environment for underprivileged youth from nearby communities. These young boys join our comprehensive 18-month program, aptly named POP – the Power of Perception. Popbox Founding Partner Sara Jones wrote and developed this impactful program, a testament to her dedication to youth empowerment. POP is a three-phase journey designed to instil essential life skills alongside fundamental boxing techniques, with our young participants benefiting from access to the facilities and introductory guidance provided through our essential partnership with Tyrone's Southpaw Boxing Club.
